DC Panjgur visited sub-Tehsil Gichk on 3th October 2020

Deputy Commissioner along with head of line departments visited Sub-Tehsil Gichk on 3th October 2020 , after long pause of fifteen years due to deteriorating security situation. Gichk has been insurgence hit region since very long time. However, due to frequent operations of Pak-army the situation has been brought to normalisation. The basic aim of visit was to check the abandoned government buildings, ghost employees and missing facilities . During the visit DC had meeting with LT.Col Tariq Hussain of 22 Azad Kashmir regiment who briefed about the Gichk situation. Moreover , He also met with notables and elders of Gichk valley at Kahan and Dambli to listen to their problems. The people presented their issues verbally and submitted in black and white . Deputy Commissioner ensured them full support and cooperation to resolve their issues and further directed head of line departments to take stern action against ghost employees in coming days. Furthermore, he met with Levies Jawans and gave two Lacs for repair/renovation and restoration of Levies Thana Gichk which is in ramshackle condition
